Instead of hockey tape, players in the NHL and at every level are turning to Tacki-Mac attack pads because they just work better. You peel the backing off and it has a super-strong adhesive on it to attach it to the forehand and backhand sides of your blade . It has vertical ridges to keep the puck where you want it. I find that it cushions the puck a little and helps you get it under control a split second faster. It has a consistent feel and protects your blade. It doesn't absorb water and get heavy like tape. It outlasts the life of your blade and costs a whole lot less in the long-run than roll after roll of tape. Amazing traction--your wrist shots, with a little practice, will have so much spin the goalie can't control rebounds as well. I've personally taken impossible shots that no one was expecting and rolled it off the goalie's pads into the net. Try it for yourself--make something out of nothing. Orange color is great for teammates to see your stick more clearly and it looks cool. This is the senior version for senior size blades. It is lighter than tape and does more for your game.
